What is the National Urban Greening Fair?
The National Urban Greening Fair is a festival of flowers and greenery that has been held annually throughout Japan since 1983 as a public awareness event to promote the awareness of the importance of greenery among all citizens, to deepen knowledge of how to protect and enjoy greenery, and to create cities where comfortable and prosperous lives brought about by greenery exist.
In 2025, Gifu Prefecture will hold its first "National Urban Greening Fair".

Venue
The fair will be held at six prefectural parks in the Mino area, which is connected to the expressway network and serves as a gateway, and in the Hida area, which is rich in nature. In addition, the fair will be held through all of Gifu’s efforts, in collaboration with local resources throughout the prefecture related to the themes set for each venue.
