The Gifu Prefecture Multicultural Co-Existence Policy Promotion Guidelines were formulated in February 2007, with the goal of realizing a multicultural regional society wherein all prefecture residents can live securely and comfortably, with mutual respect for each other’s cultures and ways of thinking. The Gifu Prefecture Multicultural Co-Existence Policy Promotion Guidelines were revised in March 2012.
As five years have passed since the last revision of these guidelines, we have compiled draft revisions for the five year period from 2017, based on the changes and new issues in the environment in which foreign residents live.
We gathered feedback from prefecture residents regarding these provisional guidelines from January 23, 2017 (Monday) through February 21, 2017 (Tuesday).
As a result, we received 18 comments, and have compiled them, along with the prefecture’s thoughts regarding the feedback, below.
We thank everyone for the feedback they provided.
