Scam Example:
- Scammers may assume the name of the Japanese Red Cross Society (Nihon Sekijujisha) or Central Community Chest of Japan (Chuo Kyodo Bokinkai), and have you transfer monetary donations to a personal bank account.
- Scammers may assume a name of a supposed public organization and visit individual households to ask for monetary donations.
- Scammers may say that part of their product sales will be donated, and ask you to buy their goods.
The intake of relief goods has been suspended.
The nationwide support has supplied sufficient quantities of foods and other items.

Gifu Prefectural Government has provided prefecturally-run residences to victims of the Tohoku and Chuetsu Earthquakes.
1. Prefectural residences to be provided:
Kano Residence (3-2 Kano, Gifu City), 100 units (floor plan: 3K)
Ozaki Residence (1, 2, and 3 Ozaki Nishi-machi, Kakamigahara Ciy), 150 units (floor plan: 3K or 3DK)
*Some units of each residence (11 units: 3 units in Kano and 8 units in Ozaki) are equipped with a bathtub, a gas cooking stove, lighting apparatus, curtains, futon, a refrigerator, a washing machine, and a rice cooker. These items are being lent out for free.
2. Eligible parties:
Disaster victims of the Tohoku and Chuetsu Earthquakes
3. Rent and deposit:
Free (guarantors unnecessary)
4. Term of residence:
In principle, two years
5. Move-in date:
Immediate screenings are conducted upon request.
