This DVD introduces basic rules and regulations for newly -arrived foreigners living in Gifu Prefecture.  It includes information about administrative procedures, the social welfare system, various social rules (garbage disposal, cautions against making noise at night, illegal parking, etc.), as well as the Japanese education system.

• Municipal governments can add necessary information (divisions in charge, taxation offices and police stations, etc.) to this template.
• This template (paper version) is made of three sections so that it can be folded in three and foreigners can carry it with them for easy reference.
• The contents of the template are fundamentally the same as the original DVD and will be distributed to foreign residents who view the DVD at the foreign resident registration counter in each municipal government office or in company workshops.
